In this last and final step of audio post production we finalize your song. The mastering process gets the last percents out of your music –  when done right. We check and optimize the compatibility on different speaker systems, (smartphones, car stereos, bluetooth speakers and club PAs). During this process we don’t hesitate to consult and give feedback on your mix. Having the best possible mix of a given song will also make our mastering more successful. As mastering is the art of small changes we use a professional listening environment and speakers that will allow us to hear all the detail in your production. Listen to the “velour” of your music we carefully shoot for open top end, crisp midrange and tight bass.

After production and arrangement, mixing is the most crucial process in music production. During the mix we make sure that the music and all the emotional aspects are presented in the best possible way. A blend of all the aspects in a song is being created and carved into a unique picture. It’s a highly creative process and the decisions always depend from the given directions. Every project is unique, therefore it’s difficult to calculate prices without any specific information. The basic price always includes revision until satisfaction and quick turn-around times, whereas special tasks require special agreements.

Due to the studio design we don’t use a dedicated recording room or vocal booth. Having the engineer and the artist in the same room ensures a close communication, less misunderstanding and a better overall vibe. The advanced room insulation inside the studio guarantees for professional and dry sounding recordings that will significantly bring up the potential of clean sounding compression. We record through high quality pre amps by Shadow Hills Industries which will give any signal the right amount of urgency and analog character. If needed we add Empirical Labs Distressors before the A/D conversion and plug-in processing, in order to ensure a compact and powerful signal straight away. By using an UAD Apollo 8 quad sound card we have all the flexibility to achieve an inspiring headphone monitor mix for the artist in real time. Engineer always included in the price.
