Turnaround and Mix Delivery

TURNAROUND

Once the files for mixing are delivered and the payment agreements are met you can plan a turnaround on your mix of 1 week for single songs, 2 weeks for EP’s up to 5 tracks and a maximum of 4 weeks for LP’s with more than 5 tracks. 

DELIVERABLES

The mix will be delivered as a stereo file in lossless format, ready for mastering. Any further exports such as Instrumental versions, acapella versions or any export of single files will have to be requested and agreed upon in advance. 

REVISIONS

One mix revision is included in the price for every track. Any further revision has to be agreed upon. 

When you receive your mix, take your time to listen to it very carefully on good quality speakers/headphones that you possibly know well. Take detailed notes of anything you would like to have changed with the exact song time where it happens. Send your listed revision notes per mail, in order to be used in the following session as a to-do list. If additionally you would like to discuss about your mix don’t hesitate to call us to discuss the revisions list. 

Although not always possible, a quick response to the delivered mix is highly appreciated and recommended for a good outcome of the mix! 

In fact when mixing with outboard gear, the exact settings of your mix will be on the machines at the very time of the mix export. If the feedback arrives quickly (typically within 1 day) the settings can remain on the machines. If instead it takes longer the settings will have to be saved to make space for another session and recalled when working on your revision. Besides being time consuming this practice will not ensure a 100% replica of the mix.

ASSISTING A MIX SESSION

The main part of the mix is always carried out by the engineer on its own. Artists and producers are welcome to join the mixing session in its final stages in order to fine tune the mix and print it together. Please be aware that if you assist the session, therefore approving the mix on the spot, you won’t be entitled to any free revisions afterwards. 

Payment Terms

The following terms are agreed upon:

PAYMENT MIXING

50% in advance and as a confirmation of the job and 50% upon delivery of the mixes.

We will start to work on the mix only after receiving the advance payment. Please note that the latter 50% is not optional to your liking of the outcome of the mixes. We will do our absolute best to carry out your mix in the best way and satisfy your requests fully. We expect your commission to come with a level of trust in the taste and professionalism of our services though.

PAYMENT RECORDING SESSIONS

Payment for booked recording sessions has to be carried out in advance. Only when the payment is received your session will be confirmed. 

REFUNDS & CANCELLATION

100% refund if you cancel up to 14 days prior to the session. 50% up to 2 days. 0% within 48 hours.

PAYMENT FOR OTHER SERVICES

Payments for production deals and consultancy will have to be agreed singularly. For any confirmed commission you will get a bill on your name per mail. The payment methods are specified on the bill and include Paypal and Bank Transfer.
